BTW: Raines Cohen and I set up a similar Twitter group mechanism which I did for Gnomedex.

If you you go and follow the user twitter.com/burners

Then when you want to post that 'group' stream, start your tweets with 'burn'

eg:

burn I'm cycling naked being chased by people with paintbrushes!!

you get the picture :) have fun!!

This shit makes me sad. I wish people would enjoy themselves in the moment while they were at BM instead of reaching back into the 'real world' all the time just because they can. If any of my friends Twitter or Blog or anything similar from the Playa, they're getting disowned.

Heh, I tend to agree with Mike and Lord Kook that this probably isn't the best context for Twitter... and that much of the digital life should be left behind when heading off to BM. Tara and I were more or less able to ditch our social media addiction on our trip to Hawaii and even just proving to ourselves that we could "put the mouse down and walk away slowly" was reinvigorating.

Now, upon your return from BM, I've proposed a way to handle this idea of Group for Twitter with what I'm calling Tag Channels... You can read all about it here. It is a long post, but I'd love feedback on it.
