I wanted to commend the city for cleaning up. Now, on one of the most historic waterfronts in America -once home to the infamous 1934 strike- are these zombie like figures in front of the Bay bridge. It makes me feel hopeless no one cares about getting anything right anymore. How much public involvement occurred? The millions of dollars spent on the nonfunctional narrow cage of a pier alongside is fitting punctuation for a ruined site.
